Well ok here the story...About 7 months ago I underwent Maxiofacial surgery because I had a major underbite and I was told that braces wouldn't be able to correct it so I went ahead with the surgery. The doctor told me and of course I knew that I wouldn't see any real results until about 2 months or so. Time went by and my mom noticed that my nose looked different and asked "did they change the shape of your nose"? I told her I don't think so and she said well maybe it's just the swelling and I assumed that was it myself and we left it at that. Well as time has passed I've noticed that the shape of my nose really has changed, even though I try to deny that it has to myself, deep down I really know it is not the same shape it once was. So basically I traded one deformality for another, now just one more thing to be depressed about. I feel like all that surgery was for nothing now, and I underwnet 7 hours + of surgery and lot's of pain and discomfort. I just want some advice on what I can do...below are two pictures, so you can see the change I'm talking about. However the 2nd picture isn't at the best angle to see how the shape of my nose has changed but you can still tell it isn't the same, Thanks. Picture before my surgery. Picture after my surgery.
