Constriction of ureter, decreases Pbs and decreases GFR, FF dec w/o affecting RPF (dec GFR / no change in RPF)



What does the above statement means, plz explain. This is in goljan 100 pages

Pre Bladder system......
Unable 2 figure out Pbs, but watever......... it means due to obstuction of urine outflow, the hydrostatic pressure in tubules build up & decrease GFR & urine output without affecting the Renal Plasma/Blood Flow.

Hey just cme across it in BRS-Physio...pg 161,fig 5.3
'P'bs is representation 4 Hydrostatic pressure in Bowman's Space...
But r u sure about Pbs decreasing, 'coz
"Pbs increases in Ureteric obstruction
& causes reduced net filtration & GFR"
everything else is in place......smiling face
