1-B) Atrial septal defect

2-D) Duplex scan of the carotid arteries

healthy

systolic ejection murmur

S2 is widely split n fixed

soft mid-diastolic murmur

Examination shows no other abnormalities

these all favour the diagnosis of ASD

For 2nd Q this is not MS if it would be MS then there would not be episode of blurring in minute rather it would be for more durations,

this seems the case of atherosclerosis and since retinal artery is involved we need to check carotid artery branches
