Questions covered from Kaplans:
Genetics: 62%, 70%
behavioural science: 74%
Pathology: 50%,56%,44%
Anantomy: 52%,
Physiology: 56%, 46%
I have started Patho physiology questions.
Am doing System wise review now. So I shud be done with most of my review by 29th of this month. I shud also be done with atleast a 1000 kaplan questions.
I will then take my first NBME.
I am doing badly in path.Just like last time. I have to work on that.Hence being careful with reading Goljan etc.
Still seems like a lot of work. But thanks to all you wonderful people out there I know I will slowly but surely build it up from here.
SO now you know where I stand. And I know where I want to be.

Hey I'm gonna tackle Patho today.Its true there is so much material to cover,but once u r confident in Patho. u have covered at least half of ur topics in USMLE.

What's great about Goljan is that he integrates physio, histo, anatomy, micro and labs into his path lectures/notes/book. You are smart with your approach to path, keep it up up up

Thanks MDU for my future prediction, ........... very bright ... future, gosh , now I'll need the bigger sun glasses like the skier one .
OK , will work realy, very hard sis .
Patho , golj is only good if done read all subj at least 1 or 2 with good , understanding.
If needed, open up patho of kap LN , dvd, BRs those are very good basic foundation for patho.
Mr G is good only after know all subj well . He also approaches in very clinical way , so to not get lost or stuck , better to know basics all subj well , including path basics , b4 jump fast .. run with him .. dance with him on his fast track, all integrated train tracks. So will not be derail .
Good job of Q MDU , good job .

P2B: yeah I think so too. Plus goljan does a great job of integration.
Edie: I am doing all else but BS and genetics. I just need to revise CNS drugs and sleep disorders.
Keepgoing: Don't be so sure. I might have lots of questions and remember you offered. :P
Shwe: He he he! Thanks for the advice. I am struggling real hard now. but will do it.
I will come around to your journals during the day, each time I take a break. Today I plan to to do Endo, musculoskeletal and CNS from Goljan and FA.

I just think I am too lazy & scared.Don't want to commit to the exam.The thought of having to sit & read continuously makes me find excuses not to read. I just can't seem to focus like I used to during my college days.All I want to do is play with my son or sleep.I know if I was determined, work,kid,hubby,household chores would not stop me from attaining my goals.But   NOpe ,I just never learn my lesson.I still keep procrastinating.My dear friends I sincerely need ur help.This is my third time around.I love this profession,I want to be a Pediatrician.Help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KG: Didn't get to Endo yet. I have listened to the tapes but need to revise KLN, FA and Goljan. Shud be done by tom.
Edie: Abt Endo ref above. But I am doing OK. Steadily doing questions and completed 3 systems by now.
P2B: I think you should read what you wrote here. I do believe it is fear of getting into the real world that keeps us from getting on top of things. It is very convinient to say I am still taking exams. hence we find everything else to do but to study and do well in the exam. But you do aspire to be a pediatrician. So here is what you do. write down all the steps you need to take to get into residency and get out of your comfort zone and remind your self that you can face the world. You can do this. You are going to do this.Then you figure out how and by when you want to do it and get cracking. No one can motivate you, like you can.No one can get you to your books and no one else can read for you. You have to do this for your self. So good luck and keep me posted.

Hi Medoc! Yeah, I'll admit, that anatomy score is wack! But look at what you're doing in path and pathophys! Moving on up, eh? Don't stress too much over anatomy. Just know your high yield stuff, limbs, brain, abdominal structures, knee/shoulder joints, dev anat and embryo. Ah, you are done w/cardio, and I'm just getting started Happy studying!!!
