Planning to do newro anatomy and beh science review before Goljan CNS.His notes have it all man. I think I will use his books as a good revision book.So FA and his book have to be mastred me thinks.
How is it happening for all you people?

I am really pissed off right now.I had everything set for my clinical attachment here.On the phone I had on ok.I was asked for my documents and I was asked to join in July.So today I call to finalise my date day timing etc. And the person in the department refuses to acknowledge my existence.Just like that.She has no recollection of me my calls my refernces nothing.Just like that. I think it will all get delayed by some time.
My ray of sanity comes from the fact that I am going to kick some Step one ass. I have a whole month of uninterrupted studying. I will make a plan and do this. This time for sure. I am done with dilly dallying and doubts and disappointments.
I am going to channelise every bit of disappointment heart break angst in me towards my step one and beat the shit out of it.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr! And the one man who makes me feel good no matter what, is taking his own exam and is no where to be seen

Keep going: You know I have been thinking about it since last night and all I can come up with is God is giving me this time to really put my act together and do really well in step one.and hence he has bought me time.
All you wonderful people out there, I am out for the next 4 days but when I will be back I am going to rock this world.So watch out and u be good while I am gone.

Do not go for 4 days either 3 or 5 days is good number cause MerD is superstacious.
Yes, god want you to read well, score higher . Now the one, he's in his exm, so did you in your exm prep, go study sis, we'll all behave [ will I myself, no doupt  ] .
Now I am with papi like you , check fluid one , so good re; mech of edema.

Hi Medoc, I agree with you. Spirit works in mysterious ways, but at the end of the day, Clarity replaces Mystery and instead of fighting it, you are going with it, you are doing the right thing. Did you get your combat boots yet? I got mine, ready to stomp the crap out of Step 1!

Hey I'm back. I had an awesome holiday.Totally worth the effort and the break.
I started with Neuro anatomy this morning.I plan to revise Kaplan notes and FA neurology.DO 100 questions.50 anat and 50 patho.
Keepgoing: U r so right.Hope you had an awesome weekend and are no bludgering the Step one.

U know some thing is wrong when significant people in your life have no regard for the fact that you are taking step one.I don't know how ppl can be so oblivious to the fact that now is not the time for anything but me to prioritise.
Anyway questions are going very badly.There is a huge gap in what I read and how I apply. I shud be working on it.

Yeah I know what you mean... it is quite a challenge to focus on this while a lot of other things are going on!....but please try to leave other things behind....you have this one chance to prove yourself....you are already 2/3 done, just this one exam and you are on your way to the top of the world!
Questions Questions Questions!!! CMON CMON! You know women are much stronger than they give themselves credit for, so for now, use the defense of "blocking" and block out other things and try to focus. I know easier said than done but do try

Anyway here is my composite plan for the next 50 odd days and I will do this.
Kaplan notes:
Anatomy 2 days
Biochemistry 2 days Genetics 1 day
Micro 2 days
Immunology 2 days
Pharmac 3 days
Physio 2 days
Behavioural science 2 days
Patho Goljan 5 days.
21 days next revision. 1oo questions q bank each day.
Estimated date of exam last week august. Get cracking woman.

hey girl how is studying going, i hope ur doing ok and stciking to plans, well best of luck i think ull do fine, im done with step 1....for good i hope, i can tell u its doable, but we are all humans, and we make mistakes and cant remb everything, but just keep trying, pls do FA evrything is there, i mean everything, was looking over it today and was surprised at the little details all written out, i know i made a lot of silly mistakes, but the one i got right i learnt from FA and UW. hows anatomy going, pls know ur brachial plexus stone cold......
