hi there ! i am on my first read of physio! and i am on the 2nd chap of kaplan lect notes.

here is what i encountered and wanted to seek your help.

2nd Chapter: Body Compartments
Page 24 - kaplan 2005

Question # 14

The Answer to the question is B, but i wanted to know whats wrong with D and E? I had the clear concept of what was being asked and i knew the answer but couldnt really select the proper diagram!

Question # 25
page 27

Why is the answer C correct? It should have been E, with an increase in intracellular osmolarity ( decreased extracellular Na+ concentration )???

I am waiting for the help!

Answers in the book are correct. What is the your reason for chosing other options???

If extracellular concentration of Na falls ,then how come that intracellular osmolarity increases ??
