wanted to raise a point here for the benefit of females.By no way meaning offence targetted towards anybody ..but very valid and true in my view.
Have been to a few interviews and seen many female imgs ...I noticed that many did not pay particular attention to their suits. SOme wore bawdy colors (one even flashy green and one white)SOme had an unaesthetic form of black/grey colored suits ,some wore appropriate colors but the fabric had some peculiar characters to it ,and some had both fabric and color in order but the fit was going astray .Not that I am a dapper and not that i keep an eye out for female suits but this was something i noticed without effort. Most males wore appropriate suits with good fits.Now suit is something which makes a person look smart ..if a suit digs a few hole in your smartness let alone enhancing it then its time to hit the store and buy a good suit..not neccessarily designer suit but one that makes you look smart.
Some females looked absolute godesses in their suit ..So good ones are also out there ..there was one who wore a shirt that was unbuttoned down to the hilt ...was she an ex-baywatch actress.
And for some guys who like big heeled and fat shoes- those boots look like bombs ..do away with bombs for interviews..
I am not a dapper and dont wear suits but when it comes to wearing smart elegant red underwears i dont think i would ever have a contest .PDs told me that they would offer me prematch if I forego this habit of wearing red uw(only) ..I chose the more important thing ..i declined prematches..Also withheld the red underwear combo gifts i had for pds

Ahhhh, laptop, a discussion that I live for. Interview clothes.....
The fit is most important.
Men: So far we have had an applicant interview with a black leather jacket. And a blue cardigan.
Women: Have been conservative, no leather skirts and high heel boots with stillettos. No leather skirt with sparkly pink sweater (looked like she was going to the club, or didn't get home in time to change).

What about the shirt underneath the suits for women?
Does it have to be plain color, stripes, or... can we wear bright one with stripes in several color?
Will it give negative influence for programs?

I guess I'm a fanatic in that regard..but I changed suit and shirt color from coast to coast. On west coast..where things are a bit laid back and liberal I chose a charcoal grey suit with a pink shirt..and on east coast (where I found more up-tight and conservative people) I chose a black suit with a blue or white shirt. I guess the color of the shirt underneath shouldn't fade you out, without lookin flashy...u should look classy and powerful!

saw one more ex baywatch actress....this one caught attendings attention with good effect....Seems like all is allowed in the game of the match ...its about marketing oneself...wondering if this adds to the credentials ...May be guys should think about cutting their suits sleeves if that works ...and wearing tie on bare chest ..I cant do any alterations to my attire(red uw) ..its already at a bare minimum leve so wouldnt afford any room for alterations....
BBB -what about parking validation for my bat ...when my bat duznt get parking he hangs out in the ER fiddling with the computers there and studying the ct scan reports...SUm take his act as nuisance....he saw one chest x ray in one ER and he is convinced that it belongs to his biological father....With the rising cold in the east he is forced to consume excessive starbucks cofee whenever he is preparing for a morning flight ....I am waiting for christmas sale when i will buy him a long coat and a cowboy hat...already got him dr martins boots.

Parking for the bat will violate the pet on work premises unless it's during an emergency, and then the animal must be caged. I don't write the rules, I just type them.
If the bat is on the size of a fruit bat, it might be able to hang out in your jacket pocket, with a wing looking like a fancy pocket square - brown velvet. Worth a shot....

So true, laptop and BBB.
I have seen girls wearing white thin T-shirt which opens very low inside the suit. Actually I think many IMG ladies dress better than AMG. Some AMG girls seem not very serious about the interview at all.
Girls should avoid tight shirt, tight pants, fancy purses and fancy shoes. In a So Cal interview, it was like a fashion show. I think girls better use briefcase instead of purses.
For guys, I agree with dev "u wouldnt go wrong with black or charcoal grey suit with white or blue shirt". Please avoid orange and pink shining shirts and bright ties.
Guys, please avoid jewelry. I saw a guy wearing earings on both ears. I don't know what interviewers will think about that.
Everyone judges people by clothes. It is the first impression.

Except for the briefcase vs purse, and the bright ties, I would agree with most. As for the earrings on men, if an earring isn't worn, the hole is still there. A small earring is no big deal in this day and age.

I agree wtih you guys. I ve been in So Cal Iv's WOW!. Fashion show. Female AMG ith a very very short skirt, amazing. i wanted to offer her a prematch in my heart LOL. I asked her to join me and that together we shall rule the galaxy, but unfortunately she wasn't into guys with dark shiny helmets. So that was that.

Well my eyes didnt fool me dear bbb, but i do accept that i might have gone a bit overboard on the skirt lenght as i am a man-robot who falls in love everyday lol.

TO be or not to be ..Triumph agains defeat..short against long ...deep vs shallow ....WHen a gorgeous girl decides to fashion parade in an interview she can spell disaster for everybody and cultivate a flower garden for herself....Only if the pd is a female (stunning looking females repel other females =old adage ) can other candidate stand a chance....otherwise its a cakewalk...PDs cant stop noticing that female and the poor guys join the bandwagon of that female ..other female candidates self burn tto extinction and dont last the whole interview.WHo wouldnt hire a zeta cornes ,a jolie or an underson..Men dont kid when they look at nicole kidman ....SO what to do in this age of unfair means ..
.ONly option to ward off such evil spell is to carry a live owl and a human skull in your suit pocket ...If you fly on a bat then bat might refuse to carry owl on board during the flight coz of the traditional old rivalry between bats and owls for superbowl of night vision ..
WHile one carries an owl its neccessarry to show the owl to the pd during the invew ..let him have the owl in his lap...that will work
