i read from LEVINSON it could be i ,2 or 4 depends upon reaction or activation of immune cells like in pencilline case could be hypersentivity reaction 1 like anaphylaxis
and drugs qunine react with rbcs so hypersentivity reaction 2 bcz hemolytic anemia...,,PLZ CORRECT ME IF I M WRONG
and in case of posion ivy delay types so hapten react in body HYPERSENTIVITY 4....

A hapten is jsut a molecule that by itself cannot illicit a immunological response. When combining with a body protien, it does. Your right poison Ivy causes a type 4 reaction. I dont think you should concentrate on the type of reaction, as the stem will tell you what type of reaction it is with a presentation. Just know the most important haptens. Poison Ivy, poison ok.
