sorry to post this here, but i had no option. this is the only forum which is alive & kicking 1) my diploma was verified by my medical school & sent to ECFMG, & they received it on 22 nov (according to DHL ) so will they tke another month or so after that for processing? my CS results will be out on 6th dec (hopefully) . So does that mean I wont get my ECFMG certificate after that & it will be delayed due to this credential verification thingie? 2) When i apply for step 3 &, i hv to get tha papers notarized. HAs it be to done from US, or can i do it from my home country? what all documents they ask for to get it notarized in US?? someone plz reply. & sorry again for posting it here! thanx

1 yes, you will be delayed by the credential verification thing. Even if they have received your documents, the period necessary to complete the process is simply up to them. Maybe it's a good idea for you to call. 2 there is only the form with your photo that you download and have it notarized in your country, at the american consulate or in the US. You need the ECFMG certificate to be able to apply for step 3, though.

Call them and find out. Mine took more than 3 months but could be either less or more, there is no specific timeframe, so call!
