hi,
i live in san jose california. i want to start the preperation ,want to give exam in may or june.hope we can make a time table and stick together,r u all interested too or since we r in different stages of preperation do u say no,hope not.
to say truely i think december everybody will not be sooo serious but from jan we should,so i want to make a plan for jan to may now and we have to stick to it.
So is anybody ready for this.

hi ,
Good to hear that many of them r sailing in the same boat.i am thinking to read through kaplan notes for jan ,feb, march and we should discuss daily the portion we read for that day.or atleast once a week.
i want to start from basic subjects like anat ,then physio then bio and so on.
if anyone want to join this strategy r most welcome.
i think dec i will not be doing much at all in studies ,since i have other commitments but from jan 1st week yes we should do .
reply who all want to do same thing.
hope if we do same portion we can motivate each other and make each other understand if we cannot understand something.

Hi Drind,
Thank you for making the plan for our group, I think your plan is good. But I think we'd better do discussion once a week or even less. It takes a lot of time to do it on-line. But I do think we should post our progress daily no matter how much we've done. It will "push" us a little. Right? So, guys, please post here if you want join us. We should make a great, dorable plan during this holidy season.

i heard from people that we should even do questions while doing reading of kaplan notes so we should be adding this also in our time table in those 3 months.we should be doing the studying part of each chapter and then do questions based on that from usmle world or so.
but i am not able to understand how to squeeze in so many things in so less hours ,since i can study no more than 3 hrs per day.
i should listen lecture ,read notes and do questions in 3 months.
please tell if any of u have any idea on this how to make time table.

Hi,
Goljan lectures is excellent. Also "Pathology Board Review Series" is a must, has high yield topics.

I am Carolina, I am not indian , I am from Costa Rica but I would be very comfortable being part of this study group. I am a mother of two girls and graduated 2004 but will start preparing for step one now.
may I Join? I took kaplan in 2005 but did not feel ready to take the exam back then. So i have the books.
How does this work ? by emails or chat online?
