Kaplan Qbank USMLE

Usually, when someone takes a test they can walk out knowing either that they blew it, or that they did well. Or they go into it feeling unprepared or prepared. I don't know what the hell happened with the Step 2 CK.

I used Kaplan QBank and was scoring around 70% minimum on the questions. Then I walk into the test and somehow managed to fail it (barely), ironically with a score that falls within their margin of error.

So, I have a sixty day lockout that ends at about the new year, so I can retake it in early January. (And hopefully they can get the scores out before programs have to submit their match lists.) With about two weeks of Christmas break, I have an opportunity to do what I couldn't before: have dedicated study time for it. So I'm intending to hit it hard, obviously.

Unfortunately, I'm surprised by some of the lack of 2CK materials. Something like Kaplan is the usual standby, but they appear to only offer center-based courses and the QBank. What books have you guys used that you've had good experience with? Any other suggestions other than locking myself in my apartment for the holidays and study (which I indend to do anywy)?

Thanks.

You can get the Kaplan study material from ebay.. Just search for USMLE step 2 CK. Many will appear as lecture notes without Kaplan written on then for copy right issues.

Good luck..

Sorry about the outcome of your exam.

I strongly recommend the Kaplan step 2 notes they are available on=line pdf. They can be expensive on e-bay ect At least 2 reads of the notes

I would buy 2 months of USMLEWORLD question bank and stdy the explanations

Kaplan q book to pass the time and maybe qbank again to reinforce the info

good Luck
