hotwire or priceline, but both reservation can't be cancelled. At priceline you need to bid (name your own price) for that hotel. And they either will accept or reject your bid. But to get idea at what price you should start bidding, read this forum first: http://p070.ezboard.com/bpricelineandexpediabiddi... Both, hotwire and priceline, you never know what hotel you are getting. The hotel name is showed after you paid for it. But you know the facilities, location and its rating in advance.

i dont know cheap.... but my experience with comfort Inn ( cheapest ) in Philadelphia Penns Landing Area was horrible in last two nights... bed bugs all over and despite calling for house keeping for 2 days, no response and finally when house keeping did come, they did not even change the linen, I felt like a bozo, complaining all the time.... May be it was a guruchu attack... laptop might agree I like Holiday inn Express, and they seem to have reasonable rates ( not cheap though) ; atleast in Cleveland and Springfield, MA.... I am yet to look for hotels in Jamica, NY and Worcester... The point is: If you live in US and have family, thats wonderful, as you return back home... but if you are like; me travelling from far distances and have to stay in one hotel for 4-5 nights, I suggest choose hotel wisely... GL in your search... I reserved with expedia.co.uk but hiexpress.com is holiday inn express weblink...

Motel 6 is decent and exceptionally cheap and safe, I stayed there in Texas and Pittsburg and was pleased..it's usually around $38 a night but you can't book online, and they don't have wireless internet, only dial up.
