Hey guys,
I'm new to this forum but from reading some of the posts I really think you guys are doing a great job of helping eachother.
I recently recieved my step 1 score which was 185/74. I am taking step 2 in about 6 months and I'm currently in my 3rd year of medical school from St george's in New York. My dream has to go into Psych and then a fellowship in child psych. I am a US citizen and have been doing all of my cores rotations and will do my 4th year electives in the US.
Since I am an IMG and I have a low step 1 score do you guys think my chances of matching in Psych are going to be impossible?
I would appreciate any advice.

I guess u should be fine. But do some externship in psych, so that, that will show that ur really interested in psych and ur not using psych as a back up. GL
