hi .can any females clarify this for me who have recently travelled.i have heard abt small travel size bottles for shampoo and stuff.is there a restriction on make up too.like lipstick or foundation in hand bags.
second question.we are allowed a small bag as carry on luggage .is a purse allowed in addition to that.or do u have to have just one piece either hand bag or purse.
plz reply as i,m flying out tomorrow.thanks.

U can carry a purse in addition to ur small bag.That should not be a problem. U can have anything that is solid,like lipstick, deodarant stick......, but if it is in the form of gel, make sure u put it in a ziploc bag and take it with u. Few airlines like delta are still fussy about toothpaste, lip gloss, lotions...... Hope it helps

compact creme should not be a problem. Anything in the form of liquid/ gel, put it in a ziploc bag and u can have it in ur carry on bag. Few airlines really dont mind but some are fussy.GL

I've managed to take lipstick's and glosses...pack a compact powder just incase they've got problems with your foundation.

Well, I can tel you about my flight from London Heathrow via British airways to PHL
At airport, I was specifically told that only one bag is allowed, no exceptions... the lady suggested that I try and squeeze my purse (hand bag ) in my laptop bag if I want to carry it as hand luggage and once I cross the security check, I can take the hand bag out and carry things anyway I liked....second option of course was to put the hand bag in check in baggage....
You can carry lipstick, powder etc. in the hand bag, but liquids like shampoo, toiletries, lotions, should be carried in a seperate transparent bag( given just before security check).... Thats it... after that the travel is smooth.. have a good flight.
Btw.. I said at the airport that I have come for interviews.. and it was not a problem.. he asked, how long I wanted to stay and wether I had a return ticket.. also before stamping the exit date on the landing card, he asked me if the tme was sufficient for me to finish my interviews or if I wanted to stay longer...
