A program for primary prevention of CHD is implemented, assuming that diagnostic procedures & detection remain the same, WOF is most effective in monitoring the program? a)prevalence b)mortality c)hospitalisation d)incidence e)case fatality )

I would say d. Primary prevention means preventing the disease from occurring. I believe the best way to determine that is to look at the number of new cases (incidence) The prevalence is the number of overall cases in the community, That can decrease due to deaths and the decline would have nothing to do with the prevention program. Anyone know what the correct answer is?
