hi

I wish if someone could tell us how different a FM interview can be from an IM one. I have my only FM in a few days.

What are the questions i should prepare and do they ask medical questions or case presentations in FM interviews. What do they expect us to say. If anyone has interviewed for FM please advice...

Main thing is try to sell the point that you are interested in comphrehensive primary care and will not be like to be limited by a speciality.

Tell them you liked all the clinical subjects so family medicine was a natural choice

Dont talk of any fellowships crap.

Any special interest -- Geriatrics and patient rights etc

in fm the onus is on u - u will always b asked why fm - probably the q which will make or break ur iview

in im - why im - is rarely asked. i got asked about 3-4 times out of 15. and any answer is considered a genuine ans..

gl..
