the LOD score equation is not clear although the concept of likage analysis is OK..
any body can explain how the value of the LOD become positve when the numerator is theta which is the recobination freq.RF
when RF is small the likage is high.. so matheatically how can the LOD become +ve wit Log 1/50 for example..
any one can explain? or the equation is more complicated than it look?
help will be appreciated..

i meant how can the log become more positive with decreasing numerator while given constant denumerator..???
LOD= Log RF/50%
