List all the hormones which are increased in this disease ?

  #2

i know there is an increase in calcitonin, but i'm not sure about other hormones. If it's associated with other MEN tumors then I guess it would have rise in other hormones like T3/T4, or catacholamines, but I'm not sure

yep if we r only talking about medullary CA of thyroid (not of MEN), then it is calcitonin.

i have read that in association with MEN IIa/IIb it seems increased ACTH,Prostaglandins and histaminase.

asmi , will you please answer to your question , is it right that only calcitonin is incresed in this case or you have another answer? cause i could not find anything except calcitonin.thank you.

yes if its just medually carcinoma then its just calcitonin and if its MEN II/III b then all other hormones come into picture.

I should have written the title as MEN III b.. i apologise
