Here are the rules: Limit: 25 participants who must have posted to this particular post. Task: do 20 pages a day of questions in Robbins and Cotran Review of Pathology, by Klatt and Kumar, 2nd ed. 2005...QZ4K63r2005. The division of the pages is arbitrary: a block of 20 pages "starts where it starts and stops where it stops." Start: November 22,2006,starting at 1200GMT /20 pages a day no more no less/day before last just do pp.381-388 and review/last day do final exam at end of book. All of the answers and explanations are in the book. Timing: On 22 November 2006 at 1200 GMT you have until 23 November at 1159 GMT to get the 20 pages done. Control: On 22 November at 1200 GMT I will post the start off in the forums section. You must post back with "Did all questions. Corrected all wrong answers" If you do not send that post in by 1159GMT 23 November, you are out..for good...just like the Tour de France. Same procedure every day. Excuses: none. Every day there will be a new post in the forums section to which you must give a post for that day's work. Days off: have to have them: December 7-1200GMT-December 8-1159 GMT and December 14 from 1200 GMT to December 15 at 1159GMT. Prize: Certicate of Completion. Changes/Adjustments: No way. I am just one person studying for the USMLE like you.I can not and will not deal with chaos. Rules: runs on the honor system and assumes you are heads up enough to read and understand this post...C'MON GANG!!!! WHO's IN??

The pathalon is off, at least as far as I am concerned. Maybe someone else has some concrete ideas for specific tasks to do. I think it is fruitless just to "discuss" the test. I have to take specific steps to review specific bodies of information so that I can pass this test. Thanks.......Eric Sandquist....
