My friend just finished usmle step 1 he scored 95 in it. He had been going kaplan classes and did the step 1 in five months. Now we are doing prefinal year. He is urging me to try for usmle and he would give me all materials. My doubt is i have kept a break in anatomy and there i wasted 6 months in my first year of mbbs and in second year i didn't clear my pathology in first attempt, therefore now i belong to a intermediate batch that is i lag 6 month backward from my friend. will this thing will be barrier for writing usmle, that is how far ones UG marks is taken into account in USMLE. i would be happy and thankful if anyone would reply.
I searched in this forum for kaplan step 1 videos, but wasn't successful, if anyone successful in finding it, pl give me the link, my family conditions can afford to put loan only for exam fees, so regarding materials and classes i should take care of myself. Hope God will help me
