HI ,
I WANT TO CATCH 2007 MATCH , WHICH EXAMS ARE NECESSARY TO BE TAKEN BEFORE I APPLY FOR THE MATCH , AND CAN I APPLY ON SEP.07 OR SHOULD I APPLY EARLIER ??!
SORRY IF MY QUESTION MIGHT SEEM TO BE VERY PRIMITIVE sad BUT I REALLY NEED THE ANSWERS BECOZ I DONT WANT TO LOOSE A COMPLETE YEAR IF I APPLIED IN 2008 MATCH .

For the 2007 match, you will have needed to be ECFMG certifed already ( if you're an IMG - so that means Step1,2 & CS done);and ERAS opened on Sept 1 and applications usually submitted by now. People are now receiving or waiting for interview calls for the 2007 match

That means i have to apply for 2008 match by start of next Sep ! but what if my step 1 exam results will appear on middle of Sep .2007 ? can i still apply for the ERAS ?

i mean if i had done step 2 ck & CS , but step 1 results will appear by mid of Sep.2007 , can i still apply for the 2008 match?

In Sep07 you can only apply for the 2008 Match.
I think that you might have a wrong idea about the dates.

Right now we are in the middle of the 2007 Match - becuase it ends in March of 2007, on a day called The Match Day. And all those who get PGY-1 positions will start their residencies sometime in June / July of 2007.

In September 2007 people will start to apply through ERAS for the 2008 Match, with the Match Day coming in March of 2008.
