I was offered the Prematch on the second inteview at IM Brooklyn Hospital. Did I accept it ? or keep going another interviews. I have more 13 interviews. My cred: 94/92/GC. Would you please give me the genuine and serious advise? Because i have 1 week to make a final decision.
GL. Thank you.

if you like the program and people there and you could get your professional goals in it, take it, why not?.
if you want to try your luck in the match for a better hospital, then, you have a good number of IVs, it's up to you.

I understand that you want to be on the cautious side, but you have 13 other interviews and very good scores! I would go to the other interviews; chances are one or two of the other 13 programs might offer you a prematch, too, and they might be a better option than Brooklyn Hospital. Basically, almost every program would be a better option than Brooklyn Hospital.

If you think you would rank this program within the top 5 of your 13 possible ranks, then I say take the pre-match and don't think too much about it afterwards because if you go through the match and you match with one of your top 5 choices then I think you would end up being pretty happy. If it's somewhere in the middle then you have to ask yourself more if you could be happy with the program, the surrounding area, etc. If it's the bottom 4 then take your chance and keep interviewing.

good number of interview on you .You should see the places where you havnt interviewed .before seeing them you can not say if taking prematch now will be good or bad.you can take a risk of refusing the prematch in my opinoin becuase the number of your interview are good.

i have been there last year. I didnt take a prematch, then didnt match. SO just think where the program is in ur list and decide. NOone else can make this decision for her.

Its how you felt you fit with the program and residents. if you felt comfortable - then go for it. With 13 IV's ahead of you though, in your place, I'd wait all the odds are with you. As loser sez - in the end its your decision, since you have to live with it! GL!
