In hypothyroid management, if the cause is suprathyroid, why do we give hydrocortisone 1st n then thyroid T4? thank u for ur explaination n replies..

supra thyroid cause of hypothyroidism is genrerally due to panhypopitutarism,in any case of panhypopituatirism - corticosteroids must be administered first,then only you have to think about treating others.
