when is the latest i can take step 3 for results to be available for 2007 match,havent scheduled it yet,can i do it now.how important is step 3 for img requiring H1 or J1 visa?

hi tasneem.
u cant get H1 without step 3. it is federal law
J1 not needed at all.
i think u should give it atleast in january or late december. cause results take 4 weeks.

Some pgms had a deadline for taking the Step 3 - Dec 31, do check with the pgm you're interested in.
