Hello all
This is a request which might sound ignorable but if heeded could help so many applicants whose career is a question mark this year with minimal interview calls.

So I request all applicants who accept Prematch offers to cancel interviews at places they have got invitations from in advance (by emailing program coordinators) so that those on the waiting list might get a chance. Please do your bit to help people who have not been as lucky as you in this crazy ERAS season.

It will also be wonderful if you could post notifications of your cancellation on the forum

I'll second this. There is nothing as frustrating as having 1-3 people not show up for their interview.

Good luck all.

BBB...

would be appropiate to those who had to cancel an appointment for x reason, to tell that there is a free sit at X hospital at X day?????

Not me, but some guys have more then 10 IVs and probably have to cancel 1 appointment.

I have cancelled some interviews, i know this will help someone on the waiting list get an invitation .

However i dont see how posting the specific cancelled invitations here will help an individual applicant; afterall it is the programs that will determine who on their waiting list they wishh to invite.

Not here - my PD would feel too bad and try and interview 20 people in the 3 hours that we have set aside.
