Hello everyone! I've been planning to pass my step 2 ck for 4 months now and during the last 2 weeks i've been studying much harder.
I'm planing to pass my exam in mid Jan...but I still don't know if it would help me to pass the NBME's or I can just go with the Qbook, Kaplan CD...
It would really nice if you gave me ur opinion and what are the most inportant things to do on a last reading.
Thanks a bunch!

NBME is a good predictor of your current status if you were to take the exam right then and there. you cant learn from them because they dont provide answers, i use them as a predictor tool. and use Usmle world, qbook, kaplancd, all as a studying aid/tool.

takecare,

i agree - they are good predictors of success. i took the pass program, and they won't suggest you to take the actual exam until you break 400 on the nbme. i took at least 2 of the nbme's for step 1. i didn't do so hot on the 1st one, but on the second one, i passed - and when i got the actual results back on step 1, it was right around the nbme score.

so yes, i think you would be well off doing an nbme smiling face
