Hey there I am in Live Prep right now and have to tell you - it is anything but easy. Don't get me wrong - these lectures are AWSOME, but if you have information in your head it will help alot. Meaning - do some reading before you go there. If you didn't read anything it will still be helpful, all lectors are very helpful, they will answer any of your questions, they will link alot of points together and make it easier to understand. But if you do some reading first, you will be able to realize your weak spots and ask questions or pay mor ttention at a time. For those 6 weeks prepare forget everything - it starts @ 8 am and goes until 4 or 5 pm (1 hour lunch break). Before i started i thought i will be able to stay in the evening and study. Yeah, right. I was able to accomplich that for 2 days .....and i was dead on third By the end of the week feel like i was unloading trucks whole month without break. Prepare to eat well and sleap at least 8 hours - you have to consume alot of information. After you are done it's for your own good to take exam within 4 to 6 weeks - the later you wait the more information you loose. In one word - you will get something that will definitely worth the money you paid. take a deep breath and goog luck

thank you sooo much babydoc4usmle... I appreciate your advice. So your gonna give your exam within 4-6 weeks of the course, thats great... I am hoping too that after the 6 weeks course, that I ll spend about a month to review again and do questions and then hopefully, be in a position to be able to give the exam. I was expecting it to be quite intense cuz to cover the whole course in 6 weeks is quite a lot of info! and after your comments it definately seems like it is. Can u tell me what the best course of action is to take after one's completed the 6 week review course in order to pass the exam right after... I think were both sorta in the same area/phase(i think ur ahead of me by a month or so!) Well I wish you all the best on your preperations and your step 1 examination. Also, if u have any other information/advice please tell me!! im advice-starved these days and could use the reassurance ))) Good luck once again, and Im sure u'll do well DocPakMan
