Hi friends

I am posting this to find out if any IMG s'[visa requiring] have received any calls/rejects/attended interview in any FM prog in NY City.

Pls contribute yr experience

These r desperate times....

I applied to 8 FM pgms in NY

3 of them hav't even dnloaded the apps despite ERAS showing applican being available from Nov 4th onwards

I applied to 5 or 6 programs in NY but still no answer. Don't know if they are full.

I've only received IV from 2 programs in NYC: Jamaica Hospital and Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore.
Rejected from South Nassau and St. Vincents NY Medical College.

I applied to pretty much everything in NYC and nearby..

And by the way, I thought Jamaica Hospital doesn't sponsor visas, but I remembered I called and they surprised me by saying that they do.

Oh hi Amit, I have my IV in Montefiore for Jan 26 but I am actually trying to change it for Dec 14. I don't know if that will be possible tho. GL to you too!!!! What do you know about this program, do they have a lot of FMGs? They actually have FMGs or they are just one of those programs that interview FMGs but never accept them? What other IV do you have? Thanks! smiling face
