weber test : lateralization test
CHL = lateralization to affected ear
SNHL = lateralization to normal ear

CHL Conduction hearing loss.
SNHL Sensorineural hearing loss.

Here is the easiest way I keep them straight.

Weber det lateralization (where the tuning fork is placed in center of head).
Rinne det which is greater, air or bone conduction (where you place the tuning fork on the mastoid process).

I use the phrase "CABA SNAB".
Conduction lateralizes to Affected ear; Bone>Air conduction.
Sensorineural lateralizes to the Normal ear; Air>Bone conduction.
