no way, how can circulating blood volume be reduced??? aerobic excercise is one instance in which all the reservoirs release blood into systemic circulation because of increased sympathetic discharge! besides increase circulating blood volume also is one factor tht contributes to increase in cardiac output!

exactly ssrpk, to my knowledge blood from veins moves to systemic circulation and increases blood volume. but the explanation they offered is due to increased capillary pemeability and incresed filtration blood volume is decresed! strange explanation.lets hear from leopard ,what he says.

Blood volume may decrease Two possiblities may during vigorous exercise - Sweating and perspiration with water losss from lungs
- Exudation of fluid from capillaries of muscles due to excessive vasodilation due to local metabolites.
Just a guess but I want to know exact answer. Best of luck
