I have a problem. Everytime i begin a 46qx test in any Q-bqnk i get the first 4 or 5 questions wrong, then i improve a lot. Has this happened to any of you? how can i prevent it the day of the exam?

start in the middle of the exam !!! hahahaha...just kidding... sounds like a little bit like test anxiety. does this happen when you do the questions with the answers showing? or even if you do a timed block? either way - perhaps if you start with deep breaths and let your mind take over with confidence, and not your anxiety (which may not appear to you as anxiety). there really isn't a statistical reason for you to start off poorly and improve throughout. any thoughts on this?

Hi There Its very normal for a "warm up" effect to come into play when one takes a difficult exam. If it helps, generally, people who display a warm up effect do very well in exams like the Step 2 which lasts for hours, rather than those who display a knee jerk response to questions and tire easily. My advice would be to recollect a couple of questions in your mind and mentally do them about 10 mins before starting a new test. It would warm your brain up and get you into the midset for the test. Hope this helps.
