I paid: I had to way for ~5-6 days to get the shedulling permit, watching the days go by from the CS calendar fo available dates 3. now I can finally register and I see I can only pick april dates! the CS shedulle still shows february 2007 dates available, I can pick only starting from april! WHY???? WHY????? WHY is this??? what topic in the ECFMG booklet covers that? how come is this possible? did this huge discepancy happen to all of you? thank you for your help and may God help us all! please excuse my

I got it: http://csess.ecfmg.org/includes/IncSchedRestricti... Spaces within test sessions may be allocated based on a variety of factors, including time of year, location of the test center and whether the examinee's institution of undergraduate medical education is located within the US or Canada, or is an international medical school. <<<<< These controls on spaces for each test session will remain in place until 60 days before the test date, at which time all testing spaces that have not been filled will be available to all registered applicants on a first-come, first served basis. Scheduling patterns and demand will be monitored, and allotment of spaces may be changed as needed. === so if you're an IMG like me you should shedulle well in advance and not use the public available calendar.... Is there any hope for me to get this wrong?

Hey Buddy! Cool down, this is the problem that I had but it is more tough for you because a lot of people who applied for this year match, failed the exam because of the new regulation starting last summer. so everyone is trying to found a place before Dec 31th, you have to log on to the page that your name in on top and refresh the page every 2-3 min or every 30 sec. maybe someone cancel his/her seat, then you will see the date changes after you refresh, so you can schedule. I do not trust email notification service, because when you notify by email that a slot is available, it has already taken by another guy bfore you. JUST KEEP REFERESHING IF YOU WANT AN EARLIER DATE. thank you thank you for your reply... I understand that hunting for earlier days- but I can't understand this: how come I can see february 28 available in chicago on the public calendar - not to talk about march, and I am allowed to shedule only in the end of april for chicago? it's not this year, it's not that(!) soon - I imagined I am on the edge ... but this I could not imagine. I thought everyone is equal in shedulling for cs, but as we post here - there was a 20th february dissapering from the public calendar... someone was able to select it, and I was not. This is not fair at all. I Imagine PM sessions for chicago & philadelphia were opened only for US graduates... tough thank you for your reply, you are right
