The supraspinatus muscle is responsible for initiating abduction, the infraspinatus and teres minor for controlling external rotation, and the subscapularis for controlling internal rotation.So I guess is A.

Correct! I checked it in Gray's before posting it.. I didn't know that.. I knew it's points of insertion, but I thought it's trajectory was ... in a more posterior way sticking out tongue and thought it is an external rotator.. i was so wrong!!
