D- Vasectomy is not immediately effective because viable sperm remain for weeks in the urethra above the cut vasa. International guidelines recommend that couples use another method of contraception, such as condoms, for 12 weeks or 20 ejaculations, after which these residual sperm should be gone.

yes, D was the anwer to the Q

..come on!!! i think that is extremly stupid.. i think it doesn't matter that one or two sperm were stuck in ductus deferens and prostate.. come on! 4 weeks? 12 weeks?

some couples can't get it right with the whole load of sperm!! grin and here comes the mighty 2 sperms stuck in traffic to take the eggs hand in union..

by the way,,

there enough sperms to get a woman pregnant in the 4 wks following vasectomy!! .... so I have heardwinkwink

itz D..... infect ptz who hv gone thru vasectomy are advised to hv protected intercourse even after 3 to 4 mnthz after procedure....
