40- C-sulfonylureas close K channel in beta cells 46- ACE are contraindicated in pregnancy because they can interfere with fetus's kidney development. 47- B - Heparin binds to the enzyme inhibitor AT-III causing a conformational change which results in its active site being exposed. The activated AT-III then inactivates thrombin . The rate of inactivation of these proteases by AT-III increases 1000-fold due to the binding of heparin. 49 - D- glucagon actions on the rec in gear with Gs 9- cipro is the only drug from the list with oral bioav.
