hi
1)- are webprep and webpath different? or is webpath included in webprep?
2)-and whats medrevu ( is medrevu just questions or actual notes etc?)( and what step is it for? ,
3)- what is the rapid review series( questions or notes and for what step? )..
4)-and BSS? ( is it questions or books?) for what step?
5)- and high yield? ( is it questions or books?)..( for what step)
6)-how many remembered questions and retired nmbe questions are available for step 1 , step 2 and step 3 individually?..
7)- and whats the must have material to look for when i buy a cd/dvd package off ebay or amazon or elsewhere etc? should i buy separate material for all steps? ( as far as cd/dvds go...)
8)- what step /steps is the pass programme dvds for?
Im about to purchase a study package from ebay or elsewhere but am confused... im gonna take step 1 usmle in 7-8 months or later , depending upon how i study
Most packages for step 1 include the kaplan dvd videos, the goljan set, medrevu questions, rapid review, bss ( board simulator) the kaplan lecture notes, high yield , qbank , sometimes remembered questions, retired nmbe questions and pass programme
i guess the above is the important must have in a cd /dvd package for step 1..
and some cd/dvd packages include some of the same material for step 2 and 3 too..
SO help me out of my confusion someone! please answer my questions! and thanks !!

webprep is an internet based course of Kaplan. Webpath is a collection of patho and histo slides....as well as questions. It comes in a CD. May be included in the oackage that u intend to buy.
HY are books. This is a series of books like HY patho, HY Neuroanat, HY gross anat etc.
BSS is a question bank. not absolutely indicated. the pattern seems to b outdated these days.
Rapid review is notes by Dr.Goljan on path. they are of different types. its best to take the 500 page one. His audio and these notes are really good.
