9. An 81-year old man with Parkinsons disease and associated dementia for th past 15 years has been admitted to the geriatric psychiatry unit following episodes of agitation in a nursing home. The report from the nursing home states that the patient has become increasingly paranoid, accusing others of stealing from him and persecuting him.
