8. A 44 y/o woman has an indolent, unhealing ulcer above her right medial malleolus. The ulcer bed has clean granulation tissue, and for several inches in all directions, the skin surrounding th eulcer is thick, chronically edematous, and hyperpigmented. The abnormalities have been present for several years, and she has had frequent bouts of cellulitis. Which of the following physical findings would be most likely also be present in this patient? A. Absent arterial pulses B. Chronic draining sinuses C. Heaped up tissue growth at teh ulcer's edge D. Peripheral neuropathy E. Varicose Veins

E...because its is a venous insuffiency ulcer.Peripheral neuropathy would be found in a diabetic patient who will have ulcers at the pressure points like tip of toe etc...thats my take on it.
