I think its B.....as they have been depicted as seperate events, the risk in each group can be multiplied. BTW manu how did u get the formula, especially 400 in the denominator?shocked

B: survival prob is multiplicative.

Hey friends,
I do not get this. If the answ is B, is it necessary to multiply by 0.8 when the pt has already survived the first year???

the patient has already survived the 1st yr so thr is no need to multiply the probability for the first yr. the ans should be D.
