if the Pd himself/herself replies to our thank u note does it mean something positive(like prematch)???confusedconfusedconfused

Not necessarily a prematch... but is a good thing that he/she takes the time to write you back

I wouldn't be so sure. It depends on the type of letter you received. Many preformed letters are sent and signed by PDs. It doesn't mean he remembers you. Look at the content of the message. If it starts with your name and contains descriptions that are specific to your encounter, then you could say that PDs has written you a reply. Otherwise it is just a well-written preformed letter that they send to everybody.
