I have heard so many times that we should not jump at the mention of pre match or ask for it. During my interview at a wonderful program the PD said "how would you feel if you were offered a prematch"? I was not expecting it and was very surprised, so I stammered, "I would consider it" Afterwards I felt and still feel like a fool!!! Was this my cue to ask for it or should I have said "are you offering"? I wrote a thank you note and mentioned the discussion and that I would be interested in pre match. That was 3 days ago. I haven't heard anything from them. How long should I wait before contacting them again? Your opinions please.

its OK. Take it easy. Usually they just want to know if you would take it or not.

If you like that program, email PD, tell him I am ready to sign a contract out of match
