Are S-S bonds so it has to be cysteine.

The insulin structure is made up of
1. Alpha chain
2. Beta chain

There are 2 disulfide bonds between these 2 chains
There is 1 disulfide bond between cysteins of alpha chain
Hence total 3 disulfide bonds.
A total of 6 cysteine molecules r present in insulin
