Should i send the thank you letters by post or can they be sent by email. And what if we dont find email addresses of the individual professors that interviewed us from the departmental website?? Can we send the thank you letters to the Program Co-ordinator so that he/she can forward it to the person who interviewed us ( of course I will send a thank you letter to PC himself/herself.)

I got the answer from previous posts that emailing it to the Program director would be a better idea rather than sending it to Program coordinator who would rather file the thank you letter in the applicant file and the director may not even get a chance to read it. But my concern is that most of the websites do not mention the Program Director's email. So how to overcome this problem?? Is it OK to ask the PC about the PD's email address when you are at there hospital for the interview??

If you are going to email it, send it to the PC. I have never seen an email from the PD or other interviewers.

I open the snail mail from applicants and put it in their file (if I get a chance).
