giving step 2 ck first wld be helpfull for giving step 1 later? which is wiser to give first?

please share yor opinions.

it is better to take step 1 before step 2. it is easier to study in this sequential manner. a lot of step 1 stuff was asked in my step 2 exam. my friends had similar experiences. i did step 1 before step 2 and i took just 2.5 mo for studying step 2 while step 1 took about 5 months of rigorous studying. my marks are not perfect but they are impressive to me being an old IMG. 94/94.
