What is the cause for impetigo - staphy. aureus or strep.pyogens? Thanks

could be both. more common strptococcus. you differentiate the two in the questions by the micro lab info they provide

but in streptococcus pyogenes impetigo you'll find honey crusted lesions around mouth or on face that's the hallmark .......

both causes impetigo......streptococcus pyogenes is accompanied with honey crusted lesionz besides staph and strep are differentiated on bein catalase positive for staph and negative for strep
