Dear bbb and friends,

I am still confused of Categorical and Primary Care. Can you tell me the difference between them? I am applying to both tracks in the same program.

Primary care focus more on outpatient clinic, if I'm not wrong about 25-30% of your residency time will be spend there. And less chance for fellowships from primary care, but it give you lot of training to be a general internists. Good luck!
