Hello, I need advice regarding applying for Step 3. I am ECFMG certified and am planning to take Step 3 ASAP. But I heard that I cant step 3 this yr since I am too late and I cant take it even during the first 2 weeks of jan. Ive gone through FSMB website and was further confused between online registration and paper application. Can anyone tell me briefly about the process of applying for step 3. and any tips for applying quicker too.

Apply for connecticut, use online application and u have to print out one part of application in end, which you need to go to a notary and get it notarised and send to fsmb. U need not be in any residency to apply to connecticut, and peoplesay there preocesssing is the fastest. http://www.fsmb.org/m_usmlestep3.html

it is there in the website: www.fsmb.org. Find Step 3 home from the link on left. or search it in the website. go for registeration link, you will find state requirements. CT state is the best and you can take the exam all over US.
