Hello, I am going to apply for CS visa in april 2007. Till april I will have completed step2 CK. I need certains Q to be answered and hope to get an expert opinion... 1- I was rejected USA visa in 2005 for elective 2-I will use my father bank account as a bank statement, should I open a bank account on my own name and should use that for visa purpose? or father account is better. 3-I am planing to get a post graduation job here in my country and I will show to consular officer that I have a job and I will return to my country, is this ok or should I not mention about my job? 4-Last time when I was rejected visa , they ask me a Q that whether I have travelled abroad which I replied NO... Should I go to some near country for visit visa in order to satisfy the consular officer that I have travelled abroad before? 5-If they accepted my passport for visa then how many days or month will it take for the passport to get back from FBI? please I need help and hope some of you friend will take time and help me Good luck

well i was refused CS visa before in Islamabad..i dont know the reason, but I used my fathers account, showed a job... In my opinion.. when u apply, show enough funds for that elective... apply for visa only for the duration of your elective, book a hostel or something in advance where u will stay, tell them u are coming back as soon as u finish ur elective, also show the job letter where u are working.. get a letter from your work place saying that u are going for elective and will be back on so and so date... and never lie... they have all records.
