how - as in clinically or in terms of mechanisms of action?
Clinically both can cause tachycardia and hyperacticity. but with cocaine you can get coronary vasospasm and myocardial ischemia. with amphetamines you will be sleepless too.
for mech of action - Cocaine blocks the dopamine reuptake receptors leaving lots of dopamine in the synaptic terminal to act upon the post synaptic membrane, producing the "high". amphetamines have an almost similar mech except that they also inhibit MAO i think. these are the things i can recall right now...
