A 40yrs old pt present due to new onset of wheezing.He denies notural cough or wheezing.Pt has a hypertension dificult to control and is on propranalol,hydrchlorthiazide and enalapril.Takes ranitidine every night for heartburn.also occationaly takes pseudoephidrine for symtoms of rhinitis.With BP 132/88 mmHg and RR 18/min examination shows soft expiratory wheeze through out both lungs.Which of the following drug is to blame?
A.Propranalol
B.Hydrchlorthiazide
C.Pseudoephidrine
D.Enalapril
E.Ranitidine

A perhaps?

B is a thiazide diuretic... C is an a1 adrenoreceptor agonist... D is an ACE inhibitor but i've never heard of E...

I think that Propranolol antagonises beta 2 adrenoreceptors, which causes bronchoconstriction... and this would explain the wheeze... not sure though...
